How do i change the head gasket in a chrysler sebring convertible

There are youtube videos of this,but before replacing just gasket,you need to have head checked for warpage or bad valves,then replace gasket if head is good.

Changing head gaskets is NOT a job an experienced do it youselfer should tackle. One little boo boo and you may have to do it over again. Get some experienced help on it.

I am doing it myself, and I have had to do it over 4 times so far....first time I didn't tighten new water pump correctly, 2nd time I realized the cam shaft was bent, (had to get another head from junk yard) 3rd time I replaced timing sprocket with wrong part, 4th time water leaking into oil because either head is bent or I didn't tighten head bolts enough....still not finished. ..but still worth it to me....but takes a lot of time, patience and a little money....and blood...from bleeding knuckles
