No. It will cause no fuel pressure. You will still have spark. They are two separate systems.

Thank you. Just changed distributor and made sure rotor was in right position, still no spark

checked and found bad crank sensor... Replaced it and got spark. Now have no power over 3,000 rpm. It sounds like a backfire and a miss. Idles rough.
