2000 Toyota solara (Camry), the FM doesn't work but AM, cassette, and CD
does work I was told the antenna was broke but it's built in the back glass?
FM uses the antenna ground for reception, AM used the wire in the glass, so it could be a break in the cable somewhere from the back of the radio to the connector at the rear. I would start at the rear connector first. HTH
Where is the rear connector located in back? Behind the seat, roof, or trunk ? I got like 3-4 undelivered emails from rom you
There is usually a thicker black wire that connects to the back of the radio or head unit, which is the FM antenna wire. Sometimes these can work loose.
In the rear it is usuall tucked in behind a trim panel right where the antenna wire can be seen on the side of the glass.
