Im trying to make sure that I'm not being scammed on a
purchase of a pickup truck. How do I know it's a real car
gurus sale?

Cargurus doesn't sell anything. This is an advertising site only. Similar to Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc. Make arrangements to see the vehicle, if possible or have it inspected by a professional inspection company if it's a long distance purchase. I've used lemonsquad.com for inspections with excellent results! Hope that helps! Jim

Face to face financial dealings are best. I would do it at my bank.
