A/C blowing warm

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My husband has refilled the freon several times now to make the a/c blow cold. It
works for a while, but eventually it goes warm again. It's like we don't even have the
a/c on at all. Before we have a mechanic sift through it and charge us an arm and a
leg, what could be some possible problems? Is there a possible freon leak if we have
to keep refilling it? TIA!

This is going to change things now. My husband went to refill the tank and he said the freon was full. It didnt need to be refilled. Just what we need. Are there too many possibilities for problems?
