Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So ive been chasing a misfire for about 2 years.
Well pretty much every thing is new under the
hood. Still have the same issue. Someone from
advanced auto told me to check the ignition
repulsar ring? Can someone tell me where its
located? Or does it not even have one. Ive looked
online. I can find the part just not where its at. Any
information on this would be great. Thx

it could be so many things? I would start simple, have you tested plugs? wires, Timing? have you chanced your fuel fitter? if I remember right 2001 still has Dis cap? have you checked all that? how many miles on it? compression test? does it use oil? (302?)

Ive tried everything. The ford dealership has had it 4 times. Every shop in my town has had it. No one can figure it out. Im tired of paying ppl to tell me whats wrong with and i change everything they tell me too and still the same problem. Ive got over 9gs in part ive thrown at it. Thats why i was really hoping this p Repulsar ring would be the fix but idk if my car has one

It wont throw a code. If it does then it say lean on bank 1 sensor 1. I put a new ecu and the code that came up was said it was running rich on bank 1 sensor 1.

yes was going to go there next , have you tried to chance the code? or replace chip to rich can burn valves, and cause Problems since it is a stang, even stock that are set up for at least block racing, and there are many chance's you can make and lean it out or make it richer, but when you chance chips, it shop be set up but shop, that can test it making sure it is set up right,

go to a speed shop they (if they are good?) are great and adding chips, or setting it up to make it run , there is just to many things it could be to say it is ?
