Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Do anyone know why my 06 chrysler 300c
rwd feels like its in limp mode but the red bolt
light is not on it starts & runs fine til i press
gas or turn left then esp bas traction light
comes on rpm in 3k but i cant go 30 mph. It
started off n on 2 months ago no shop can tell
me why. So i scanned it again myself got
codes p0605 & u0101. I check everything
under car engine wiring. Also i rest the throttle
with the gas pedal after all lights go off n it ran
like a race car briefly but when i got home it
was leaking trans fluid llok like from oil pan
not the plug thing but it stopped it only leaks
after it feel like its in limp mode. Confused af.
Tried to recab steering angle sensor by doing
the left right center. Can someone help please

The two codes indicate a power train control problem and a TCM issue. The leak is also a probable cause of your problems. Fix it before you ruin your transmission.

You will have to look for it. If it is the pan it is an easy fix.

Thanks but the car seems to go into limp mode without the red bolt light on and there was no leaking anywhere when this started and once the codes are erased it stops leaking. So im going to try all mentioned solutions the trans fluid gasket change the throttle body cleaning w new gasket and the steering sensor before i consider the t m pcm replaceing which i found a plug n play with warranty for under 180 each if all thT fails im getting rid of it n never again buying any type of chrysler this is our third one they alwYs have prob n recalls n the service at dealers be quick to say they cant detect a prob or duplicate i even went there with my check lights on n same story

Try scanning for codes. You are right. Chrysler products are trouble.

How to fix code u0101 on my 06 300c? Will that code make the car go into limp mode? If im at a stop and try to pull off fast it act like it dont want to go but it doesnt stall at all thats when the esp/bas & traction ligh illuminates
