new battery new alt will no how charge

there has to be a solid 1/0 battery cable to the engine block...this alternator is grounded through this I recall there is a stud with a lug exiting the alternator...have someone test the output of the alternator should be a regulated 14.5-15.5 volts DC...the motor has to be turnin~

else, slap on ye olde shumbacher...yes every garage has one kickin' about...think I'm on my third one now~


Turn on the key, do you have an alternator light on? If not check that circuit, alternator will not activate without that light.
