Average total Mileage Life Span

Asked by GuruBQN54 Jan 08, 2019 at 06:11 PM about the 2011 Nissan Versa 1.8 SL Hatchback

Question type: General

I have a 2011 Nissan Versa Hatchback Manual Transmission.  I have over
145,000 miles on it.  Since I have followed all manufactured service and oil
changes, how many miles can I expect to get from the life of the car?  I am
trying to decide if I want to continue to put money into the repairs that have
coming up lately.

200,000 miles is how much you can get but if you maintenance it good it might last longer

I drive a 2017 Nissan Versa Note and take care to perform all routine maintenance. I am a delivery driver for Favor and that means that I drive lots of miles in a week, If I continue to maintain all of the scheduled maintenance I hope to get at least 200,000 miles.

I have a 2010 Nissan Versa with 135,000 miles on it. Love this car. Bought it used with 60,000 miles on it 6 years ago for $10,000 and have stuck with routine maintenance ever since. This car is in pristine condition inside and out. Even the engine compartment. Hope to have this car forever.

Anyone have any front end creaking noise in cold weather? I have tried looking near the struts/bushings area and haven't noticed anything really worn. Have a 2013 Versa with 59,400 on it. Also, it's a manual, anyone ever had a clutch go and if so at what mileage? Trying to figure out how long the car can last. I try to really keep up on the maintenance so this front end thing is really bugging me!

My 2007 Nissan Versa S, 6 speed has 306K and runs great. I bought it last year and expect it will go another 100k easily. All highway miles and I get about 650 kilometers per tank.

I have a 2012 versa hatchback with the 1.8 engine and 4speed automatic transmission. I have 142k miles on it and it hasn't needed any repairs yet! The engine has the typical tap. Sounds like a sewing machine the past few years. I use synthetic oil, I'm lazy with routine oil changes. I've only changed the oil 5 times since it was new. It still looks and runs like new! I'm hoping for 200k or more before I need to replace the engine. Love my car!

I have a 2007 nissan around 160k. I love this car. It's a few hundred over.. due for oil change I dont let it normally sneak up like that. However it starts right up, runs great as long as the oil is changed on time and has gas in the tank.

I have a 2015 with 124,000 miles. Been a good car. Aside from normal routine stuff (fluids, plugs, brakes, tires) I have only had to repair a fuel pump at 110k and an ignition lock before that at 90k. Still runs like a champ. My motto..... repair bills are better than car payments.

FYI: Multiple years (and even models) of Nissans have been part of a class action suit for their transmissions. IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS, REPORT IT TO THE NHTSA ON THEIR WEBSITE! I'd own three Nissan Versa Notes now if they had a reliable tranny. I've replaced spark plugs at 74k miles because the car started running rough and it didn't fix it... The car is babied but aging poorly. The transmission is showing signs of failure at 75k and the dealership updated the control software. I paid for a transmission fluid flush around 64k miles because it was acting up but things didn't get better. Worried about another Renault engine failure (Renault's engine design is what Nissan uses). I've always used top tier gas, using full-synthetic 05W-30 and ultra premium oil filters (still changing it at 4k miles), changed the coolant and manifold+throttle gaskets, cleaned the throttle and intake manifold at 74k. Changed the PCV valve for the 3rd time, clean the MAS every 10k and put a Denso or Bosch high-pleat count air filter. I also do the cabin air filter religiously although its a pain. They could have been a great car, a Prius-killer but alas, they suck more than they're great. PS 38MPG combined when driving 70% freeway... 2018 Prius gets 55MPG+ but cost $11,000 more.

I have a 2011 Nissan Versa Hatchback sport automatic and just found out catalytic converter gone bad, $1200 to replace. 180,000 miles. I think I'll pay it and keep my Nisey.

2007 Versa S hatchback here with 257,000 km, still running great although breaks have become weird. Automatic regular transmission so no problem with that so far. Tho I feel like it's taking a bit more gas than it should, it's about 8 L/100 km I'm hoping it to last another 3 years or so, or getting to 333,333 km just for the heck of it. I think I had all of the model 2007 problems one could have, AC and defrost haven't been working for years but I don't really care anymore. When it dies, I'm looking for buying an electric car.

I've got a Nissan Versa with 213k mi. It runs great. It's my work car so I drive it almost everyday. I've got a feeling it'll last another 2-3 years.

I bought a new versa note in 2014. I have 145,000 miles on it. Not one thing has ever broken, and the interior looks like new. I would be absolutely shocked if this car is not running after 200,000. The key with these cars is to baby them. Regular oil changed, garaged and be sure to get transmission cleaned according to schedule. It will save the transmission. We do not drive this car over 65, and never gun it. I have owned 13 new cars in my life, and this one is my favorite. It is roomy, built well, reasonably quiet. Have driven all over the country in it also.
