08 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab rwd with 25,000 miles. I have been feeling bumps like going over road reflectors where there are no bumps, feels mostly like right rear. I have recent Cooper Discoverer AT 3's @35psi and recent Monroe Reflex shocks. I checked and lubed the rear shackles and just had the tire store check it out and rebalance all four tires, no change. This started happening after a very rough patch of freeway. Could there be a problem with the rear leaf springs ?

road reflectors where there are no bumps. Changed shocks for the second time to Monroe
Reflex. Have newer (500 miles) Cooper At/3's with 35psi each. Just had tire store check it

This is going to sound silly but check your tires for a foreign object in the tread. I once drove through a construction zone and had the same sensation. A bump-bump-bump that followed the vehicle's speed. It turned out that I had picked up a large chunk of loose asphalt, from the construction site, in my tire tread. HTH. - Jim

Not silly at all. Almost the first thing I did, I have a white pebble driveway, I'm the guy throwing rocks on the highway so I had checked for anything sticking out. I had the tire place check for flat spotting but they said the tires were perfect. I'm going to put it up on jack stands and put it in gear to see if there is any wobble. Thanks !

Reset the shackles today. Loosened the bolts, raised the frame to straighten them out, set the truck down on it's own weight and tightened to 59 year old man torque specs. Unfortunately on the test drive, I think I forgot what a normal ride is. It did seem like each bump was just each bump and not three……to be continued.
