You can have the car scanned for codes to tell you exactly what the issue is since the light is on. But I've read others having had a similar problem, and it turned out to be a faulty throttle body, others not. Have it diagnosed before replacing parts

I own a FS AWD. The throttle body is one choice but not the only one. If you are mechanical at all, purchse a can of SEAFOAM (under $10 at any auto parts store) and clean the throttle body yourself without removing it. A basic code scanner can be purchased as low as $20 new and will allow clearing all codes

just got back from the Ford dealership. The wrench indication light has gone on and off a few times now. He said it is a faulty indicator from the passenger side mirror. I still don't believe it...

If your car stalls when you get the wrench sign, you may need a new throttle body assembly. There seems to be an issue with that!

TB does carbuerator job and basically looks like one too. Looking at car-part,com which lists about every recycling yard in the country roughly $300 and up tons more new Learn how to clean it (youtube) fairly easy without removing as can most parts in this engine. Always use correct cleaner for each part.

Try changing the transmittion fluid. Mine was stalling so we changed the throttle and it was still happening , so we changed the transmittion fluid and that did the trick.

I own a 2017 Mustang GT with a stage 2 Roush supercharger 727 horsepower. The wrench came on and know the car won't go over 80mph and the cruise control won't work either.

Did you get it sorted mine is now doing the same thing after fitting an edelbrocjk supercharger and after market tune
