car sometimes wont start. and some days no problem?

Check the battery first, how old and what is the voltage? Any other symptoms? Does it just crank longer?

intermittent problems are the hardest to diagnose, even for a mechanic who has his hands on it- if the car won't act up for the mechanic, how can he/she know what's wrong? Let me check my crystal ball- nope, sorry, it's just staying cloudy
