Asked by Kerry Apr 08, 2019 at 05:34 PM about the 1998 BMW 5 Series 540i Sedan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

all of a sudden my steering wheel and seat won't move along with my power plug?

Same issue, Solution for my 1998 528i: On the side of the drivers seat (where seat adjustments are located), behind that plastic molding, there is a "plug" that has "unplugged" . I simply plug it back in and snap the molding back into place against the side of the seat.
