Question type: General

i just wonder how reliable is the 2003 model - I have had this car for two years - have replaced two window regulators and a few other items about $1100.00 per year.

Yes go buy a newer one. My husband and I had the exact same vehicle and had in the shop 7 times before we even had it for a whole year. If you do end up buying a newer one get a manual not an automatic. They're having problems with the Tiptronic system.

Amanda - thank you for your response. Did y'all (I'm Southern) get another BMW 3 series?

Ha! Nope. I actually wrecked the one we had back in November of 09. They're too expensive to fix all the time.

I've had better luck with older Bimmers but that could justbe my experience. Definitely stay with manual unless you move into a high end BMW, like the 7 series

Hey, thanks for your reply. I will just keep the 2003 325i. It is automatic not manual. What year do you have, in a 3 series? Will not be moving into a 7 series or 5 series.

3 Series
