Asked by Sep 20, 2012 at 11:50 AM about the 1992 BMW 3 Series 325i Sedan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Can I take it apart and repair it myself?

The motor is located under the switch in the headliner. Check power and grounds going to the motor with the switch activated. That will let you know if its a motor or wiring issue or maybe even a switch. Hope this helps.
