2011 Chevy Tahoe Clock after Batter replaced
I replaced the battery in the 2011 Chevy
Tahoe. After replacing the battery only a :
was in the section for the time. After a
couple of days the clock started showing
time, but will not advance. It will stay on the
same time until 1. I turn the car off and then
back on again, or 2. I go under the option to
set the clock and it then will show the current
time. The time will not advance when on the
main screen.
Any thoughts on why this is or how to fix?
I couldn’t find anything in the 500+ page manual about resetting the radio. Only where the fuse box is located. Any other help?
Eric, did you find out how to fix the clock ? My Tahoe is now doing the same thing. A colon symbol ( :) shows up where the time should be. Any answers would be appreciated ?
I just brought my Tahoe 2010 to the Chevy dealer because of the same problem. They told me that this is a known problem for some Chevys, Caddies and GMC cars and trucks and no fix has been found yet. They installed a brand new radio system and even on the new radio I still can't set the clock. Get a cheap dash clock on Amazon, that's what I just did as I can't see my watch with my distance only sun glasses.
This is crazy how is there not a fix? You had to buy a brand new radio system that never fixed the problem?
