Question type: Maintenance & Repair
This Ranger was sent to Quebec for sale and ended here in Michigan where I purchased it. Need to know how to turn off the DRL. Anyone know where the sensor or module is located on this vehicle?

The lights are there for a reason- to make your vehicle safer- and they do- not just for you but for everyone on the road- it would be irresponsible for anyone here to tell you how to make your truck LESS safe-
That's the dumbest thing I ever heard he's not hurting anyone and it's not a law who are you to dictate what someone does to their car !! Less safe...smh
Take the bulbs out...or wire a switch along the power wire of the lights. Run them to your dash, cut a whole, install the switch and leave it on. If ever comes a time when you consciously desire them off, flip the switch. When you are done with showing off your car without running lights, turn it back on. That way you help yourself and others most of the time because your lights are on. And then you have the ability to turn them off when you want. Everybody wins. Should cost you less than 30 bucks and 2 hours at worst. Unless you are incompetent.

Lots of reasons for not wanting any lights on. Hunting, sneaking up on your own house when your spouse is banging your neighbor never owned a Ford but I would definitely figure out a way to shut them off
Cut the wires to your front and back driving lights and wire them to your low beams up in the front harness around your radiator and core support Should find harness somewhere below hood latch
I want mine off because I like to sit in my vehicle and listen to the radio without running down my battery.

I’m dumb enough for everyone, but every now and then I find someone one dumber or as dumb as me. Try driving on the highway on a cloudy evening or at dusk. While you’re doing it look in your rear view mirror. Trust me, you’ll only see the cars with running lights or headlights. And in most states it is the law to have some type of lights on. Some people should turn off the TV and read a book or something. Darn!
