Have the OBD (on Board Diagnostics) fault codes read at a chain parts store and write them down, then bring them back here, there are several people that will help you. Don't pay them, many places will do it free, but beware of what the guy tells you, that's why I say come back here so they don't sell you something you don't need. Meantime, www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2DjMcM .....might help

hello michkeehan, Sorry to hear about the unsafe experience you had with your 2010 Silverado. I would be glad to check your VIN to see what your current warranty coverages you have, check for any open recalls or special coverages that may be related to the issues you're having. In order to research further, please private message the last 8-digits of your VIN, first and last name, and current mileage, at socialmedia@gm.com ATTN: Vanessa in the subject line. I look forward to your reply. Vanessa, GM Customer Service
