how do you flush transmission fluid on 2010 Jeep Commander with plug stating dealer only?
If it's an automatic, don't! You're asking for trouble! Check your maintenance schedule for the time/mileage interval of a fluid and filter change if it's an automatic. But don't flush it!! HTH. -Jim
It is an automatic.
Then see what the fluid and filter change interval is. Most vehicles today it every 100,000 miles. Change the transmission fluid and the transmission filter(s) but don't let them flush it! Flushing dislodges "junk" that's best left alone. This junk can quickly clog up a new filter. Or prevent worn parts from continuing to work correctly if cleaned out. Thank you for the best answer click! HTH. -Jim
