I accidentally reverse boosted my 2010 Toyota Camry Sport. The car will move in reverse and all electrical systems seem to be fine, but it will not accelerate or move forward. Any suggestions? Could it be a fuse?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I thought I knew what I was doing when I tried to boost my dead battery on my 2010
Toyota Camry Sport. The car started and I took the cable off. However it will now only
drive in reverse. All electrical systems seem fine. An engine light has come on. I am
extremely concerned. Could it be a fuse? I'm praying it isn't super serious.

I would have it towed and have the error codes scanned. You could have fried the Transmission Control Module, or numerous other components. No way of telling what got ruined without the scan. You can try pulling your fuses one by one and checking them. But a fuse doesn't usually make a transmission quit.
