2010 corolla S electronic issues?

Asked by Earnest Aug 12, 2020 at 09:27 PM about the 2010 Toyota Corolla S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok, apparently I have the unicorn. My daughter
Started to back out of a parking spot the other day,
and the power Steering was really stiff. Also the
warning lights on the dash were all Illuminated, rpm
and speedo did not work. Windows and headlights
work, and the ac/heat blower motOr works, but the
ac does not. Radio works, and it will come out of
park. I checked it out, the battery and alternator are
both secure and in good working order. I looked at
all the fuses I could find and nothing seemed to be
blown. I took the battery loose for about 30 minutes
hoping for a reset, and that was worthless. Any
suggestions? I have spoke to a couple people who
worked on them at dealers, and they had never
seen the issue. Also, the radiator fan never kicked
on, even though I am sure it got hot enough. What
y’all think should be the next move, short of
dynamite or a trade in? Thanks

Dealers almost always lie and say they have never seen your problem. A good independent shop should be able to help you.
