rav4 third row
My 09 rav4 limited edition with leather interior has
what appears to be seatbelts coming out from the
roof nearest the back door. Does this mean I can
add third row seating? I am not sure if my vehicle
has the necessary brackets to accomodate a third
row seat and if not can it be installed aftermarket.
The real question is WHO would want to sit back there?
See this thread on 3rd row seats, it's mostly for small kids, rarely comfortable. hettp://forums.edmunds.com/discussion/5362/toyota/rav4/toyota- rav4-third-row-seating
Well truth be told I am trying to figure out how to accomodate three car seats with this rav4 and have space for 1 or 2 adult passengers, just looking at possible seating variations.
I'd upgrade to the Highlander.
Look, I understand that you are interested in third row seat options, but, this is NOT the right car. Even if you can shoe horn them in, the people riding back there are going to be VERY uncomfortable and in an accident will likely be at a much higher risk. Do you really want that??
Thanks for the responses, definitely do not want to place anybody at greater risk for the sake of saving a few bucks.
A wise and prudent decision.
Now begs the question, which vehicle is better suited to accomodate 3 carseats+passengers amd ideal for everday use? We're not too fond of the minivans.
