I need to know if I have to remove the entire inside door panel or will the light switch snap out somehow.

A service technician at the local Chevy dealer told me the plastic cover on the door handle pops out. When you have it off the switch can be easily replaced. However, I have not tried it yet as I haven't bought the switches yet. I have the same vehicle and while the passengers in the 2nd row can use the existing switch to make the window go down, it will not go back up. The service guy told me that replacing the switch should resolve the problem.
