On a 1996 chevy suburban drivers side rear view mirror replacement..... can i just pop the mirror out and replace it instead of having to put a whole new housing on?

On a 1996 chevy suburban drivers side rear view mirror replacement..... can i
just pop the mirror out and replace it instead of having to put a whole new
housing on?

Some makes and models you can just replace mirror glass. The new glass has a sticky backing. Is your old mirror glass broken? Do a web search and take a look. I've never replaced just a mirror glass, but, they do make just the glass.
