about 6 - 8 ounces of water got poured into where the shifter sticks out. Immediately the O/D OFF light came on. It stayed on a long time. Then went on and off. Then went off. Then repeat.

Would the water have shorted something out? Any thoughts?

If the switch got wet, sure. Not sure if the actual switch is where the water was poured.

Thanks Tom. All was fine this morning. Never thought some spilled water could cause so much trouble. Glad it wasn't soda
