Hello, I have a 2008 jeep grand cherokee that I
bought but the car has been sitting for almost
2yrs before I got it, so its been licking coolant and

If it was sitting for two years, then yes, replace and fix the coolant leak, replace the oil, and fuel out of the tank if you haven't already. Replace the plugs and maybe even the other fluids like trans, transfer case and brake fluid. It's up to you if you want to keep and drive it.

I wouls not drive it til u do what's recommended above. The grinding noise might just be the brake rotors that have accumulated rust over the years by just sitting there

If grinding noise is heard when vehicle is not moving, it's probably bad water pump and that' explains the coolant leak
