Brake lights won't work. I need ideas...

Asked by Nov 11, 2015 at 06:58 PM about the 2008 Honda Accord LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've already changed the switch above the brake
peddle, checked the fuse, and all the bulbs
appear fine.  What could I be missing?

if you have power at the fuse going into it and out of it, check for power at the switch, going into and out of it. If you have power at these locations it would have to be a bad connector between the switch and the brake light sockets. If you don't have power at any of these locations you need to start back tracing the wires back to the power source to find a break in the line.
