Overheating

Asked by GuruTW45Y Jun 18, 2018 at 06:57 AM about the 2008 Jeep Liberty Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Jeep Liberty we've changed already
the air compressor the thermostat the radiator cap
and even the water pump, car still overheats after
15 minutes of driving maybe less. All the fans are
kicking in all the liquid is a flowing right I don't
understand why it keeps heating up. How many
fans are supposed to be in a 2008 Jeep Liberty?
Does anybody have any ideas, please help. I'm a
single mother with a sick child, and I just lost my
job. I bought this car with the last penny I had
because I needed a car, and the guy sold me a
lemon. I go to the mechanics and they see a single
woman and right away everything costs $1,000 or
more to get fixed. Any advice would be grateful.

what does the exhaust look like ? Look under the oil fill cap what do you see ? has a compression test been done by the " mechanics " ?

the oil cap is clean, I haven't run a pressure test yet, thank you for that. There's nothing coming out of the muffler, there's no smoke no steam no nothing, No shakes, I'm not showing signs of a blown head gasket
