Bad thermostat, and/or bad water pump (as in it needs to be replaced)
changed thermostat water pump has no slack in the pully hoses r good and I burped the system
Ok! Are your fans coming on?? To check the fans, turn the car on and turn on the a/c--- the engine fans should come on immediately- if they don't you have dead fans or a dead fan relay. Even sillier question, this motor along with pretty much all dodge motors should be burped with the engine running, did you burp the motor in this manner?
yes I checked all of that also
And the coolant reservior cap is pressurized? If all of those things are good then, what leads you to believe the motor is overheating? There is a possibility the temp gauge could be going south as well (not likely though- it gets its signal from a sensor when the sensor starts to go bad the gauge will act up, but usually the gauge will drop to cold-- not to hot.
