My grandson has a 2008 Chevy cobalt, just stopped and cut off will do nothing

Car just stopped
in the middle of
driving it, no idea
what is wrong, or
why it cut off and
what do
anything, no
sound, no starter
problem or
anything else just
stopped and will
not turnover??
Any ideas?????

I have found out what was wrong with it, the battery is in the trunk and the wire that is hooked to it hot side of the battery, not the cable, but the one that must be going to the computer, was broken off,right after the fuse, after fixing it the car started up and runs just fine!!! I would like to say thanks for the help, I appreciate it very much, and if you ever need some help, drop me a line. LOL
