Or my 2008 Dodge caliber there is a screen to the left
below the gas gauge and temperature gage but nothing is
on the screen, should I be worried or is that just normal

If you turn the key to the run position caution lights should show up there.

It's for compass and outside temperature read out,you may not have that option.

It’s because that feature wasn’t purchased with the vehicle. I had the same issue! It annoys the heck out of me! The person I bought it from hadn’t purchased the upgrade.

What if the middle and left screens are dark? Is the middle one fun every model or is it also an upgrade?

The middle one should still work. Those are all your warning lights. I’ve had issues with that too. I feel like the previous owner turned off the warning lights somehow. Because mine don’t come on but the code reader finds issues. I’m waiting to talk to dodge about it. The last owner messed with my car before I bought it.
