I have a 2008 Corvette with dual exhaust. There is a remote inside when you press a button you can make it quiet or loud. Does it have any mor horsepower when it is loud? Some guy told me it did but I'm not sure.

Maybe a few horsepower 5 or 6.

it will make a few down low in the power range...if its the stock set up and you have the remote like mine.. its really not that much loader.. anytime you put your foot in it at opens all four anyway..

Are you looking for more noise or horsepower? Look at the muffler and see if there is a cable or cord connecting to the muffler. If not, it is a mechanical open when the internal pressure opens it. If you want anything fancy, look at getting new mufflers that has the feature you want, or one that runs near open all the time. You will not get the sounds like the late 60s/early 70s Corvettes made. Even the new Z- 06 Corvettes sound like they are wrapped in marshmallows.
