Starting problems

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After I start up my 2004 mazda rx8 and let it warm
up and go a good distance where then the
temperature meter is in the middle then use the
shut off procedure to properly shut it off then I do
what I need to do for 10 to 20 minutes and go to
try and start it back up it takes multiple cranks
which is then another 30 minutes until it finally
starts. I have a brand new battery, ignition coils,
spark plugs, Cadillac converter, and exasust pipe.
So what's the problem?

It is very possible your problem is a crank position sensor.

Is there a way to clean it or should it be replaced?
