Drove to work after work went to start the
car and nothing no crank.click or turn
over.no dash light or anything when you turn
the key.tested the battery 12.2 v. Any help as
to the problem

Voltage should be minimum 12.4 but you have enough to at least crank engine slowly. Check the battery cables for corrosion and make sure they're tight
Call the AAA , they have a great battery service and will come to your location and check out your entire charging system. They also sell fantastic batteries. AAA will let you know if your alternator is failing.
That happened to me also and it was a bad connection at the battery I also noticed that my clock had stopped and the radio lost all it's station when I was at work ' I replaced one of my terminals and that was it
