I have 2001 chevy Tahoe 4wd. White smoke coming out the tail pipe and it loosing power. Is it the head gasket?
Does the smoke smell like antifreeze? if so, It's probably a head gasket.
White smoke is usually a head gasket or a cracked head, coolant level will drop so make sure the coolant is full before driving and get it fixed quickly, O2 sensors don't like coolant as it coats the tips and then they won't work, not mention what is does to catalytic converters.
Yes white smoke coolant Blue smoke oil Black smoke gas
