Driverside Door Switches Not Working

Asked by skittle Oct 02, 2011 at 11:56 PM about the 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have just bought a 2003 Chevy tahoe LT and the driverside door switches do not work. these switches include all 4 door windows and locks, power mirrors and also has heated seats panel that does not work. even the light in the lower left corner does not come on. Tested and found power to the orange wire to the window switches. Have checked fuses and circuit breakers and all working. What Do I Do?

Pull drivers side door panel off and check for something unplugged or verify switches are working with a voltmeter. The best thing to do is take panel off and unplug everything and then replug connectors without reinstalling and see what's going on with switches and the switches are normally dummy proof so u can't cross them up.
