My Tahoe will not crank over

My 2005 Tahoe shuts off on me while driving
and now it won’t start it doesn’t want to crank
over what is it

Mine did that and it was the brass plates on the rear doors. They were dirty my husband cleaned them problem solved. It's a security issue that's why it won't start.
