2005 Chevy Tahoe

My Tahoe was running in
all gears earlier tonight,
but now only 1 2 and 3 rd
work. Had a hot trans
smell. Will not gain
speed past 50 mph.
RPM's go up, but no
speed.

Did u start by at least checking ur fluid? Look under it too for trans fluid leak Just in case its tran try taking to couple trans places before it gives out completely.
