I have a 1966 Mustang. It failed vehicle inspection today due to Dynamo problem. Can someone explain what does this mean? I have no issues in starting the vehicle .

Dynamo usually refers to the alternator or generator is so equipped. Possibly it is not charging correctly.

If they can't get an RPM reading on the engine while testing the emissions with their equipment it's their problem. Go back and speak to the supervisor. HTH. -Jim
