i have a 07 chevy malibu lt and it has a 2.2 ecotec the temp sensor reads then it drops to cold like its not reading i raised the hood and the coolant hose on the left side of the car when looking

under the hood is operating temp the other hose is cold the fans are on no heat coming from them any segestions

change the coolant thermostat.. it should not run cold. cold running wrecks the catalytic converter.
