I got a 2007 chevy colbalt and the key is stuck in the
ignition and it wont turn neter way on or off

Could also be a solenoid. I believe there's a solenoid that activates to release the key and possible allow the ignition switch to turn. Don't buy parts, or destroy anything until you've figured out the problem.
