Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Please help. this has been going on for over a year. Its getting worst. It feels so unsafe to drive but don't have a choice. Every time I take it to get fixed its fine for a couple days then starts all over again. The brake pads get worn down to the metal and im worried im going to die one day

Why do you think this is a brake problem? If it happens when you're just driving and not using the brakes which brake components would vibrate? Unless this is happening under braking conditions you have a drive line problem. There's not a lot to go wrong other than the CV joints in the half shafts (front axles) and they go all the time in front wheel drives that are a few years old. Sounds like you need to replace one or both front shafts sooner rather than later. If its in the budget replace both front wheel hubs at the same time as the bearings don't last forever on these cars either. Use good quality wheel hubs, not junky chinese ones or you'll be in there doing them again in a year or two. If you're a do it yourselfer you can probably do them yourself. It takes 2 to 3 hours per side once you figure out what you're doing.
