Value and how rare is this car
I have a 1964 1/2 Mustang with 85,000 mile and have never beed restored and is in pretty good shape. I an the 2nd owner and was wondering how rare is it and what it is worth VIN #5F07D188083 289 with a four barrel Fomoco carburetor three speed cruise o matic trans. please reply to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please may I ask if it has a generator or an alternator? I can give you a better answer
Steve, don't get me wrong, if you know for fact you have a 1964½ I believe you. There is much debate about the 1964½ and 1965. I am not going to get in to that though. It did have a 289 HO (High Output) 289, a regular 289,a 260 V8 or a straight 6 that was in the Ford Falcon at the time Actual date of manufacture, and more. To tell if you have a TRUE '64½ see this..... http://www.mustangandfords.com/news/mustang-1964/
Some guys say there is no such thing as a true '64½, but I disagree. There IS. That's about as far as I want to step in to this. But they are worth upwards of $10,000 in good shape, ORIGINAL.
Thanks for getting back to me.I have a Generator, I also have two raceing flags inbeded in the center of the steiring wheel under the mustang cap, does that mean anything ? and it is a 289 with 4 barrel carb.
