What do you do w/the current license plate(s)?

When the sale is complete, what do you do w/the current license plates on the
vehicle?  Does the seller get to keep the current/old plates or do they stay w/the
car/buyer?

That depends on the laws in your State. Some States require you either transfer the license plates to the new vehicle or turn them in to your local Motor Vehicle Agency. Other States require that the license plates stay with the vehicle. Check with your local Motor Vehicle Agency to be sure. Hope that helps! Jim
