Alright, so i have trying to figure out something i can not find out, i want to know if my 2m4 5 speed from my 86 fiero would an if possible to swap into my 85 v6 gt fiero? Please let me know! Thanks

I am certain that it could be done. That being said, it may be difficult and you would have to change from a flex plate to a standard flywheel on the output shaft.

Keep in mind that the Isuzu 5 speed used in the 4 cylinder Fiero is not the same as the Getrag 5 speeds used in 1986 1/2 and later Fiero GT V6. The Isuzu will fit the V6 but the Getrag is stronger. Expect a multitude of problems converting automatic to manual. Fieros are selling so cheap that I would recommend buying one already set up the way you want.
