I want to replace all the dashboard light. They are currently red. The speedometer area and radio, ect. I want them all to be neon and blue. How do i go about doing this, what kinda of lights/blubs do i need to get? And what should i be aware of before doing this?? Thank you.

Justin, take the dashboard apart and remove the bulbs. They should have numbers on them, or just bring them in to a parts store and match them up. Be aware that the circuit boards and wiring are delicate like in a computer. GO BUCS! I lived in the Tampa Bay area for 30 years (New Port Richey/Hudson).

You might be supprised, but I would bet that you find out that your bulbs in your dash are actually clear. Your dash text and gauges most likely have a tinted layer coated in them. Gauges faces can generally be changed fairly easily for under $100, but I'm not sure about the rest of your stuff.

Wrong. All of the lights are lit up by surface mount LEDs. For more info on how to change them, visit ToyotaNation.com.

Just to add the climate control lights are mini light bulbs, but all the others (dash board, radio, clocks) are the surface mount LEDs. Might be a DIY on customtacos.com too.
