my wife was driving the car and the TCS light came on. she stopped the car and the wheels would not move while she accelerated. What does that mean? Is it expensive to give fixed if need be?
It means your traction control is not controlling traction properly it usually shifts power between wheels but in your case its taking power from wheels. It could be anything from a sensor to needing a reflash usually not to expensive if its just a sensor.
See if you have a TCS off button if not if your cheap you can cut the wire but it usually wont help you much in the long run. Most people will turn it off to spin tires or drift something that your probably not going to do.
Oh and if the light just randomly came on sometimes in an Acura it means transmission problem hopefully it doesn't but this is worst case scenario.
