Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When travelling on level road at between 45 and 60 MPH the car vibraates for about 1-2 seconds like it is going over a rumble strip.  When this happens, I have noticed the tach moves up and back down ever so slightly.  At first I thought it was a tire problem but now I am thinking trans.  Anyone else experience this?

I would check your trans fluid level. If that's ok then have it flushed. BG is the brand that I highly recommend.

Turned out to be a trans problem that was corrected by flushing. Thanks.

Only way to check the fluid level in this car is to pull a plug from underneath the car. Not having a lift, I took it to a shop and they added some fluid which fixed the problem. Thanks for the input.
