I am looking for the ECM on a 91 chevy scottsdale???

I have looked but can't find it. I have taken out the computer there is nothing that looks like a ecm, any idea where I can look further?  I traced wires they look like they go to the computer so I opened it up but found nothing that look like a ecm or its connector? any ideas where to look next???

Passenger side floor right side kick panel behind & below glove box. In those days the ECM is what we all call the computer, cpu, brain box, control module.
