It's most likely the switch on the steering wheel. I bought my '93 Caprice (same steering wheel design) brand new. During the 19 years that I owned it I replaced that switch at least a dozen times!! Must have been a poor design. HTH. -Jim

Where is the 'switch' located? Is it expensive to repair? It's such a safety issue being without...THANKS Jim!

You're welcome. Glad to help. The switch is under the two buttons on the steering wheel that you push to sound the horn. Shouldn't be too expensive. HTH. -Jim
